About Shri Raghavendra Teertharu (Mantralaya Rayaru)
Shri Raghavendra Teertharu, also known as Mantralaya Rayaru, was one of the greatest saints and philosophers of the Dvaita tradition. Born as Sri Venkatanatha in 1595, he became a renowned scholar, spiritual guru, and devotee of Lord Vishnu. He was ordained into Sanyasa by Sri Sudheendra Teertha and was given the name Shri Raghavendra Teertha.
Rayaru dedicated his life to spreading Madhwa philosophy, guiding devotees, performing miracles, and protecting dharma. His teachings, devotional works, and divine blessings continue to inspire millions of devotees across the world. He entered Brindavana alive in 1671 at Mantralayam on the banks of the Tungabhadra River, where devotees believe he continues to bless people even today.

The sacred Brundavana of Shri Raghavendra Swamy at Mantralayam is one of the most powerful spiritual centers in the Madhwa tradition.
