About Shri Vyasarajaru Teertharu ( Chandrikacharyaru )
Shri Vyasarajaru Teertharu, honored as Chandrikacharyaru, was one of the greatest Acharyas of the Madhwa Guru Parampara and a towering authority of Dwaita Vedanta. Ordained by Shri Brahmanya Teertharu, he served as the spiritual guide and Rajaguru of the Vijayanagara emperors, including Sri Krishnadevaraya. Renowned for his profound scholarship, devotional compositions, and fearless philosophical debates, he played a decisive role in strengthening Sanatana Dharma and Madhwa philosophy across the empire.
Brundavana Significance
The Moola Brundavana of Shri Vyasarajaru Teertharu, located at the sacred Navabrindavana (Anegondi), is one of the most powerful spiritual centers in the Madhwa tradition. Worship at his Brundavana is believed to bestow protection, courage, wisdom, victory over obstacles, and Guru Anugraha. Devotees revere him as a guardian saint who protected dharma and nurtured bhakti among the masses.
